Get A Job!
The challenge was to create a cover and interior layout for Rita Sue Seigel’s book Get A Job! Getting a Design Job that would appeal to designers while clearly communicating its focus on career guidance. The cover is designed as a maze, symbolizing the difficulty of navigating the design job market, with a marked path that spells “get a job” to represent guidance through the process. Maze motifs and bold sans-serif typography are carried throughout the interior, supported by a high-contrast black, yellow, and red palette to attract attention and reinforce the book’s urgency and direction.
